To activate the quickshifter feature in your PCIII you need to run this software (download link below). This sensor is available in both "push" and "pull" style to suit all installations. One end of this sensor is mounted to the shift lever itself and the other to a fixed point on the chassis. Linear Travel Sensor Kit - For applications where a bike does not have a shift rod, or the Shift Rod Sensor will not fit, we offer a Linear Travel Sensor.
For most applications, a Shift Rod Kit is available. This sensor is available in both "push" and "pull" styles depending on the direction the shift rod moves during an up shift. The customer must provide the appropriate "length and thread" shift rod. Shift Rod Pressure/Tension Sensor - This universal sensor mounts inline with the shift rod. *Note: Certain bikes require an ignition module for Quick Shifter functionality. This keeps the system from activating at too low of an rpm, such as low speed road riding. The user can also set a minimum rpm for the system to function. The amount of "kill time" is adjustable by the user via the provided software. No cutting or splicing of your bike's wiring harness is necessary. The Power Commander incorporates all of the Quick Shifter functionality in with the main fuel controller and is fully programmable*. During this time, the rider can shift up to the next gear without rolling off the throttle or using the clutch. This is done by momentarily cutting the fuel and or ignition, which unloads the transmission.
QUICKSHIFT SENSOR FULL
The Dynojet Quick Shifter (DQS) allows full throttle, clutch less shifting. Rolling off the throttle, even slightly, slows your times and can be the difference between winning and losing. In racing (both drag and road race), split seconds count. If you had one of our existing shift rods and want to replace it, you may need to use an extension to screw into the back of the unit GEAR-PS-SWT-PUSH-PULL-03-EXT, this can be cut to suit your installation.Normally during "up shifting" you must roll off of the throttle and pull in the clutch in order to engage the next higher gear.

In newer harnesses, the wiring for triggering on extension will be floating free in the back of the 36 way connector. **if your wiring harness has been modified from standard, please carefully check continuity to ensure everything is correct. Leave the wire that was in Pin 19 loose in the back of hood.** If you wish to change to extension, check continuity and remove the wire from Pin 19 and replace it with the wire from Pin 27. Some harnesses will have the second switch (for extension) going to Pin 27. *Hayabusa harnesses that are equipped with the powershift input wiring, will be connected to Pin 19 as standard. Our Hayabusa wiring harnesses are wired as standard for operation in compression on upshift, if your mechanism requires extension for upshift, both wires go to the ECU connector hood* The shift rod contains 2 switches one that triggers in compression, the other that triggers in extension. The MBE ECU can be configured in various different ways, from a simple gear shift with a single cut all the way through to gear control shift patterns depending on accessories fitted. gear stick or cable operated paddle, the shift rod sends a signal to the MBE ECU to initiate a gear change. It plugs directly into our Hayabusa wiring harnesses. This shift rod is only for use with SBD MBE systems.
